Who i am

Hi, I’m Mary, the storyteller behind Oslo Walks, a Ukrainian adventurer who somehow found her heart in Oslo.

I’ve lived in different worlds - from the quiet rivers of Norway to the ancient streets of China. And this way I’ve learned that every city speaks its own language. You just have to slow down enough to listen.
That’s what my walks are about: not rushing from one landmark to another, but feeling the spirit of the place, noticing what others overlook, and hearing the stories hidden in stone, water, and light.

With a background in languages, history, and mythology, I create experiences that go beyond sightseeing.
Each walk is a blend of facts and feelings - where Viking myths meet everyday life, and where travelers become part of the city’s story.

I speak several languages and love connecting people to culture through narrative, symbols, and small discoveries that make you say, “I’ve never seen it this way before.”

Whether we wander by the river in daylight or trace old legends under the evening lights, my goal is simple:
to make you feel Oslo, not just see it.
